Weekly
Update 7/1/2018
Another
pretty boring week.
A
couple of lectures and talks at TLC. I missed the Book Club because
I thought it was at 2, but it started at 1, and I was an hour late.
Remember that Alzheimer’s thing from last week’s update? Well,
the time is coming!
The
most wonderful thing I did this week was to attend Adam and Erin’s
wedding. The ceremony was at Ascension Lutheran Church on Wright
Square. It was a lovely place to have a wedding. The reception was
at the Morris Center, which was a very nice place for the party, too.
Day, Adams mom, looked wonderful! Me? not so much, but I tried, and
wore a dress and shoes, not flip flops.

I think you look great, Wilma. Hope you have a happy 4th. We have left CO and are in a little campground on the Platte River - it is on the OR Trail route where pioneers crossed the river on their way to OR. The host here at the campground says there is a nearby rock with signatures from those days that the pioneers carved into the rocks. We have seen similar signature rocks east of here closer to western Nebraska. We will have to go see this rock too. There is also a natural arch nearby I hope to get to see. I will send you photos if I am successful
