Update 1/10/2021
My friend Barbara moved from Savannah to Gainesville Georgia on Friday. This has been the plan for while, and I’m sorry to see her go. We met at Foxy Loxy on Monday for a final cup of coffee and wish each other See You Later, not good by.
I voted on Tuesday. In the general election last November, I stood in line for early voting. For this run off election, I waited until election day and went to the polling place in person. I would have been out in five minutes, but the card I was given to insert into the voting machine had not been deactivated after the prior voter had used it. After they assured themselves that I was NOT voting twice, I was able to vote. I was out in fifteen minutes.
I did little else all week. I was not motivated to go out. I watched a lot of playoff games and was was mostly pleased (or apathetic) about the outcomes. I’m happy the Bills were able to hang on to a game that should not have been that close, and I do wish Brady would lose.
I like your mask - and of course Fred and I are hoping your team keeps winning. We are always willing to support our friends’ teams ššš¼
