Update 1/17/2021
Continuing with the post office issues, I guess this is what has to happen for me to get my mail:
Of the three zoom meetings I had on the calendar for this week, I only was able to log on to two of them. I think I’m getting stupider as the years go by. I did “attend” a wonderful lecture of clothing styles and trends in the first half of the 19th century. And, although not a “meeting”, I zoomed with my brother, sister and nephew Sunday after the game.
I’ve been bingeing on YouTube. This week I watched the Smothers Bothers – I’d forgotten how funny that was – and some old Password games. I obviously have too much time on my hands, and don’t read enough good books!
I ate out several times this week. On Monday, I met Mike at Olive Garden. We did that a couple of weeks ago and apparently he really enjoyed it. So we did it again. Kay and I met at a barbecue place in Pooler, Jim and Nick’s, and had wonderful stuffed baked potatoes. There was a food truck at AP on Friday, The Naked Dog, and I had a reuben hot dog – very nice indeed. We may be in the midst of a pandemic and political upheaval, but I’m not going to starve.
Almost as amazing as the Buffalo Bills win over the Baltimore Ravens, is the fact that my Christmas cactus is blooming! A hundred million miracles are happening every day!
Love your blooming cactus and that the Bills won again. I think next week’s game will be tougher but I hope the Bills continue to win. We were disappointed that the Saints were eliminated because we didn’t want Brady to move on
